Borkowo - Latitude: 52.8333, Longitude: 19.7167

Dziembakowo, Mazowiekie (current province), Plock (former province) - Latitude: 52.8167 Longitude: 19.7500
DZIEMBAKOWO (gm. Sierpc). Dwór murowany z 1. połowy XIX w. Charakterystyczna wystawka dachowa oraz ganek z tarasem. Całość otoczona jest parkiem krajobrazowym z XIX w.

IMMIGRATION: Arrived in U.S.A. 1903 (per 1910 Census).

CENSUS: 1910 Ohio Census (Ward 24, E.D. 362, sheet 5, 8205 Pulaski Avenue N.E.) lists Angelica as 31 years old, in her first marriage, with three children born to her and three children still living. She spoke Polish and had no occupation.

Aniela was good and kind, but also strict, but never mean. She was taller than her husband, who stood at 5'9". She was very good with her hands and created many things with her crocheting. When she died, her aunts came in and took away all the things she had made such as lace blouses, doilies, etc. They also took Tiffany lamps, which suggests that the lamps MIGHT have been from the Dziembak or Czacherski family. Since there weren't any Dziembak relatives in Cleveland, that only leaves the Czacherski's. The aunts in question, then would be the wives of her uncles, Anthony and Joseph.

DEATH: Certificate #5482 - Adherent Placenta. Died a few days after developing complications during the birth of Felix.
Ohio Death Index lists Vol 3314, cert #41212 under the name of WANICKA AMELA.

OBIT: KUTOLOWSKI, GENEVIEV : Wife of John J (Obit.). Plain Dealer 11 Aug, 1989, pg. 10 sec. C
GENEVIEVE KUTOLOWSKI (nee Wanicki), beloved wife of John J., dear mother of John P. (wife Lila) and Jane, beloved grandmother of Lynee, Walter and John, dear sister of John, Stanley and the following deceased: Isabel Dart, Louis, Tekla, and Irene Stankiewicz. Funeral Mass Saturday, Aug. 12, St. Charles Church at 10 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received at Golubski Funeral Home, 5986 Ridge Rd. , Parma, from 204 and 709 pm Thursday and Friday.
Genevieve D. WANICKI
7 CHRISTENING: At St. Casimer's Church on Sowinski Ave., with Anthony Czacherski, Aniela's uncle, as godfather, and a distant cousin of hers, Pauline Cywinski. as godmother. Cywinski was related through the Czacherski line.

MARRIAGE: Bill Dart was Isabel's boss at the Aluminum Casting Company. He promised her a church wedding but never followed through. Instead, they were married by a Justice of the Peace.

Some information that this compiler received came from Cecilia Brzoska in 1978. She went to school with Isabel. When I interviewed Cecilia, she was 75 years old and living at 3721 E. 71st St., Cleveland, Ohio. It was she who told me of the Czacherski and Cywinski family connections. She also told me that she thought Isabel had died of Leukemia but that part isn't true. She mentioned that Isabel passed out a lot. With Glomerulunephritis, Isabel was probably quite sick without realizing it.

Lived on Avery Road in Brecksville, Ohio.

DEATH: Chronic Glomerulonephritis. Untreated strep stayed in the body long enough where in certain individuals, attempts to eradicate the infection led to the production of "immune compleses" or large molecules that could "clog up" the glomeruli in the kidneys, hence the term "glomerulonephritis". Over a period of time the resultant scarring and inflammation would lead to kidney failure. Prompt treatment with antibiotics could have removed the infection.

OBIT: Name: Dart, Isabelle, Date: Feb 6 1946, Source: Cleveland Press

10 DEATH: From the Ohio Death Index:
Name: CZACHERSRKI ANNA I
County Name: CUYAHOGA
Date of Death: 2/6/1918
Volume Number: 2499 Certificate Number: 8434
Aniela (Anna) WOZNICKA
11 Died after a fall while going to babysit for another family. Daughter, Anna, was taken care of by maternal aunt and uncle in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Anna later came to U.S. at approximately age of 10.
**Note added 19 APR 2002: Anna Batulewich told me that this story isn't true -- that Karolinka died in childbirth. Ona was an only child. If this is the case, then her date of death can be included as Jul 1897.**

Jus̆kevicius, if they were Polish, they'd be Juszkiewicz. It is from the name element "Jus-" and is a patronymic name from a father or descendant whose given name was Joszef. Joszef is the Polish form of Joseph. Joseph originated among a group of Semitic people inhabiting ancient Palestine and means, "the Lord added". It is a popular surname in Lithuania with 397 families living there in 1985.

The -ewicz/-owicz patronymic suffix, meaning literally "son of," cognate with the Russian
-ovitch. In the modern Lithuanian orthography, it appears as -evic^ius or
-avic^ius, hachek accent on the C.
